Well after a year on this I have decided not to stop but to carry on in the haphazard manner that this project eventually took on. 17 pictures done and a whole load of interesting people photographed was a lot of fun. Only thing left to do is maybe run a show of them all something I am still looking into.

As well as just enjoying the challenge of the project I also managed to prove to myself that my portraits could be used for professional, commercial use with a number of the portraits being used for promotion purpose. I admit seeing a photo of my mine printed by someone else was ace.

So I am going to continue shooting portraits, some as a continuation of this project but also now look to develop a business around this as well. So if you are looking for a single shot and happy to give up creative control I'll still do it as part of this project. But if you want the really good stuff then remember I need to eat......

Inspired by my Sister-in law (Shona Rae) and her husband (Nathan Rae) year long creative projects I have decided to shot a portrait a week for 2010.

My hope it to find subjects from all walks off life, some informal and some formal, some adhoc and others planned in advance.
